Developed by Grimshaw, in partnership with the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, Minoro is the first port of call to find the latest guidance and resources on managing carbon reduction in buildings for asset owners, investors, design teams, consultants, contractors and building operators.
Curated by experts from across the built environment and construction value chain, Minoro provides a stepwise approach to carbon management, identifying key actions and responsibilities at each stage of a project's life cycle. A carbon management toolkit is also available for download to support live projects.
A critical step in addressing the climate emergency is the decarbonisation of our buildings and wider built environment and how we collaborate as an industry to enable this. Minoro brings teams together along the project life cycle, accessing and using the guidance and resources and taking action to maximise the opportunity to avoid unnecessary carbon emissions in building projects.
By collating the best international and regional resources and guidance in one place, Minoro makes navigating and delivering carbon reduction more achievable. Adopting the actions set out in the platform will help to unlock opportunities and outcomes that are critical to the successful delivery of low carbon buildings.
Minoro’s content will be regularly updated ensuring that the most relevant guidance is available for the selected region. Use the feedback tab accessible within the platform to provide comments on sources of relevant guidance. The platform will be expanded to include new regions and countries particularly from the Global South.
